WHAT
IS A " PROFESSIONAL ONLY" PRODUCT?
A professional-only product is one that can only be purchased in person
from a licensed skin care professional in a salon, spa, clinic or physician's
office. Because the product is given to you based upon an analysis and
examination of your skin, you will receive a product that is proper for
your skin. "Professional Only" products cannot be purchased online or
on the TV or at beauty supply outlets. Be aware- there are companies who
advertise as a "professional line" or a "salon line", but whose products
are basically just mass-market products, similar to TV, drug store, discount
store or department store brands. The most qualified licensed skin care
professionals refuse to use products that are not "professional only".
They don't trust their business to such products, why should you trust
your face.
Because our products are dispensed by a highly trained and licensed skin care professional, you are assured to receive products that:
• Are more suitable for you, which costs you less, since you only buy what you need.

ABOUT PERSONALIZED SKIN CARE
Other skin care companies say they offer a "personalized skin care program"- why is that different from what you offer? A "personalized" skin care program" is kind of like a salesperson giving you a pair of shoes to match the color of your pants. It simply gives you the best set of "off-the-shelf" skin care products and selects some standard treatments that might fit your skin type. But we make your home care products just for you and we select treatments and modify the products and extra active ingredients used in each treatment so that it is custom-made just for you. Its like we make your shoes just for your feet and for how you want them.
DO I NEED CUSTOM-BLENDED SKIN CARE?
An analogy is "do I need to alter my clothes to make them fit me" depends on if you want the best results possible for you. Just like off-the-rack clothes, off-the-shelf skin care may or may not suit you. Your licensed skin care professional will perform an in-person DermaPrint Skin Analysis™ to determine the exact needs of your specific skin, not just what your skin type is, but what YOU need for your specific needs. Almost everyone will benefit by having skin care made just for them, having the extra active ingredients to fight their specific skin care conditions. But if your skin care needs would be better served by off-the-shelf products, then that is what will be recommended to you. You will only get products, ingredients and treatments that are the best for your specific needs - just for you, ONLY YOURx.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CRUELTY FREE?
Our company was the first in the industry to embrace no animal testing. For over 30 years, we have been a charter member of numerous cruelty-free groups. We are an eco-friendly company. We take great pride in delivering products that deliver results and that include the latest technology. But we take even more pride in achieving results while using ingredients from eco-safe sources, using recyclable containers, to our use of recycled and recyclable packaging and shipping materials. You will find us listed as an approved skin care manufacturer.
WHAT KIND OF INGREDIENTS DO YOU USE?
We use only pharmaceutical grade or food grade ingredients. Sure, they cost more, but they are worth it, both to us and to you. All of our ingredients are "non comedogenic" (do not clog pores), we don't use animal derived ingredients. We do use "nature identical", which means the chemical makeup of the ingredient is exactly as it appears naturally, but without possible irritants and contaminants. We do not use mineral oil, or lanolin, or waxes, instead we use some of the finest and most expensive natural oils.
WHERE AND HOW ARE YOUR PRODUCTS DEVELOPED?
We are constantly keeping up with changes in ingredients and technology. If an ingredient or a process creates a better product, we will use it, no matter what it costs. But no matter how big the hype is, we wont use an ingredient that does not work. Our research and development budget is among the highest in the industry. So demanding is our process, that less than 1 in 10 products we develop make it to market. Products are developed by a team of our own cosmetic chemists, R & D, estheticians, and quality control people. In addition, we retain one of the leading cosmetic chemist consultants in the world and work closely with raw material suppliers world-wide to assure we are kept totally abreast of changes in the industry. All products undergo the most rigorous testing in the industry, for efficacy, stability and irritancy, both by inside and outside laboratories. All products are test-marketed by over 100 of the top salons.
